The Season

The season runs August 20 through October 25. League games are generally played on Fridays and/or Saturdays, and playoffs may include Sunday games. Game schedules are determined by the North County Basketball League.

Practices

Teams practice Thursdays from 4:00–6:00 PM at Columbus Tustin Recreation Center, 17522 Beneta Way, Tustin. Players should bring a basketball and a refillable water bottle, and wear basketball shoes and athletic attire.

How to Register

Registration is a two-step process: sign up with JustPlay OC through TeamSnap, then complete a player registration directly with the North County Basketball League. Both are required to take the court.

The Season at a Glance

Teams practice twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, then take the court on Saturdays from September 12 through October 24. The season builds toward a season-ending tournament on October 31 at Momentous Sports Center in Irvine.

Get a Head Start: Girls' Pre-Season Clinic

Want your athlete ready on day one? Join us Saturday, July 25 from 1:30–4:30 PM at The Center at Trinity (Trinity Presbyterian Gym, Santa Ana). The clinic is $75 per athlete with a 10% sibling discount. Register for the clinic here →

Season-Ending Tournament

The season wraps up Saturday, October 31 at Momentous Sports Center, 14522 Myford Rd, Irvine. Tournament participation is decided by each coach and team; the cost is approximately $500 per team, covered through team fundraising or an additional team fee.

We're Hiring Coaches

We're looking for volleyball coaches with a heart for student-athletes. Volleyball experience is preferred, and all coaches complete a background check, safety training, and program onboarding. Interested? Email marketing@justplayoc.org.
